This study examines how AI transformed digital marketing strategies in that year, emphasizing live campaign optimization, ad personalization, and metric redefinition. Early adopters deployed AI-powered campaign delivery systems, allowing dynamic, real-time optimization that substantially reduced lead generation costs and minimized ad wastage. According to Entrepreneur, AI-driven campaigns in 2018 shifted focus from generic clicks to conversion and leads, achieving over 50% cost reductions in lead generation Complementary trends included the rise of dynamic creative optimization, chatbots, and automated content.
